Mr. Carlson is an information technology (IT) executive and thought leader with an extensive background in IT management, e-commerce and web application systems development, and artificial intelligence. He also possesses deep experience in systems development, technical leadership, and business operations. He is a specialist in developing and directing all aspects of e-commerce web information systems for small and medium-sized businesses and nonprofits.

With extensive experience in development and operations using best of breed systems, technical and strategy consulting on e-business, security, firewalls, software development and cloud hosting implementations and operation, Mr. Carlson's competence is beyond question, providing reassurance to the audience. Responsible for P/Ls, cloud and data center deployments, budgets, policies, business analysis, risk assessments, cross-functional operations, and domestic, global, and tactical planning. He holds an MS in Computer Science and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
